tornado,,, or some bad ass wind

well we have bad storm damage... bad

Re: tornado,,, or some bad ass wind

  • well turns out that trampolenes can really fly in this kind of weather.... sh!t
  • I was scared last night!  It was so scary, and the scary winds caused scary dreams.

  • I kept running through my mind the steps I would take/what I would grab if I heard the tornado siren.

Thank God it never went off!
  • Oh no, Rachel--I hope this morning you find it isn't too awful....  ((HUG))
  • That was some crazy wind last night! We had shingles all over our complex this morning.

And what's up with all the water main breaks? Two were on Main St in Reynoldsburg, one on High by the Convention Center and DH said there were more!

  • I haven't been outside yet, but the tree outside our bedroom window was definately moving more than usual (as in the trunk and everything). It was a bit crazy!
  • Oh no! My friend that lives over by Liz had bad damage as well. I didn't notice anything with my  house this morning other than a crocked light. The wind was so scary though. I kept wondering if I should go to the basement!
  • That's the problem with this stuff going on in the middle of the night . . .I was to busy cursing at the wind to shut-up, to be concerned about going to the basement :)  I hate when my sleep is disturbed :):)
  • Rachel I had trampolines flying around in my neighborhood last night too. Surprisingly the wind didn't take my shingles or screens though!
  • DH made me get out of bed and wrangle 3 cats and 2 dogs (one is ours, one is a foster) to the basement. Then he ran back upstairs to grab bank papers. I grabbed our SS cards and wallets, a camera, food and water for all 7 of us. We were awesome for our tornado drill!
  • I heard it each of the 10,000 times I get up in the night.  I didn't even think to check if my house/patio stuff was ok.  I guess I'll find out this afternoon.

  • We have storm damage too. Luckily the power only flashed off and came right back on. But a bunch of our siding is across the street in our neighbor's yard.
  • It must not have been as bad on the North side...I slept right through everything. Although I found one of my dogs who is scared of everything sleeping in our basement, which was a first. I guess he heard the wind!
  • Im stuck home because of it, the wind blew a tree down last night and its straight across out driveway/yard.  I got Dominic all geared up to go the sitters this morning, only to get halfway down the driveway and realize I wasnt going anywhere.  Dh is out with the chainsaw now!!  It's a good excuse to stay home i guess:)

  • All the garbage cans on my street blew over.  I couldn't sleep because I kept hearing this pop can blow up and down the street.
  • I'm so sorry! I don't think we had bad winds last night, or I slept through them. Over in Clintonville, the one house had a huge pinetree down , I was glad it hadn't hit the house.
