Housecleaner questions
I know it was just posted last week or so, and that post has given me the motivation I need to start the search process for a housecleaner. I have a few follow-up questions:
1) Who do you use (please post contact info if possible)?
2) How big is your house?
3) How much do you pay? Per visit or per hour?
4) How long are they there?
5) What do you have them clean?

Re: Housecleaner questions
1) My girl is not taking new clients
2) about 2000 sq ft
3) $55-60 per visit, she comes every 2 weeks. I think it's $20 per hour.
4) I think 2.5 - 3hrs depending on what we ask her to do.
5) Usually I close off the guest rooms and bathroom if they haven't been used. If they have been used I ask her to clean them. She cleans everything and washes and puts away all our bath and kitchen towels. I ask her to clean the top of the fridge or the light fixtures in the bathrooms or to put already washed sheets on the bed every once in a while. On her own she has a rotation for when she will clean the blinds, baseboards, doors/framework, etc.
Where do you live? My person is taking more clients.
Our home is about 1800 Sq. feet
$60 every two weeks
usual stuff plus fans, baseboards on a rotating basis. She changes our sheets too.
She's great with animals - we have a 110 lb. dog and cat. She loves them and gives them treats. She's even offered to let the dog out while she's there.

4. 4-5 hours (we only use her for "deep cleaning")
5. Deep cleaning - i.e., showers, bathrooms, baseboards, etc. She's very thorough, but we usually have minor stuff like dusting and vacuuming out of the way - she does it over anyways! We don't use her as often as we'd like, but mainly because DH doesn't like being tied down for the day (she doesn't have a key).
1) Her name is Bev and she brings 2 other ladies with her. She is looking for a couple new clients, so page me if interested.
2) 3700 sq. feet
3) $130, which works out to $20/hr.
4) 2 - 2.5 hours for 3 of them (they have a key so I don't have to be here)
5) Everything except laundry!
