AW: Jim Tressel is AWESOME!!!
My best friend Susie is a 2nd grade teacher in Phoenix, Arizona. She has her kids so brainwashed by the buckeyes that it is all that these little ones talk about. She had them all write letters to the buckeyes to wish them good luck for the national championship game.
She came home for winter break and brought the letters home with her so she could send them to Tressel. Her parents live on the same street as Tressel so she sent them to his home address. Two days later a guy came to her door at 10pm and dropped off a care package. Susie went downstairs to see what it was and it was a HUGE package full of signed autographs from the team and Jim Tressel himself. 10 minutes later the house phone rang and it was Jim Tressel himself calling Susie to make sure that she got the package that he dropped off for her!!!
What an amazing guy! With all the craziness going on for the big game he found time to personally drop off a care package for her kiddies! She is going to have a happy bunch of 2nd graders on Monday morning

That is awesome! He is such a super nice guy. Literally two days before I left Columbus, my contact in the Ticket Office dropped off a football that my office had bought me as a going away gift to see if Tressel could sign it for me. Literally, hours later he signed it and I got it. It now sits in my office here in Phoenix and it is personalized to me! ("Melissa, Good luck! Go Bucks!)
I think it is so sweet he did that for your friend and her class. I'm not super surprised...besides being a nice guy, Tressel knows that the Valley of the Sun is "Columbus West"

Tressel's always been a favorite of mine as i have "home town pride" hehe he used to be at Youngstown State and I grew up in ytown so
I was just happy that my parents (who don't know him) got him to sign my wedding signature book (before my wedding) as a surprise.
