It is finally time to start getting pumped up for the big game!! Is anyone else excited, but feeling awfully guarded with hopes for a national championship since last year was such a letdown?

I would love to watch it with a ton of Buckeye fans, but 8pm on a Monday means I'll be lucky to be awake for the end! RATS!!!!

Oh I am SO with you....getting excited, but ridiculously nervous!!! 

I assume you've heard about the tapes that Tressel gave to the players to watch over Christmas?  On WNCI this morning they aired part of it--it made my blood boil to listen to the disrespect everyone has given us.  I hope we take a note from M*ch*g*n and play with a chip on our shoulder and play an attack game--blitz on many downs, strike their weak secondary downfield, and take advantage of all their weaknesses.

I'm ashamed to admit that I'm most nervous about stopping their mobile QBs, though....

Aww, don't feel ashamed! I thought the same thing! I was listening too! Cie Grant singing made me cry, and I am NOT a crier, esp in the morning when I am barely awake! I'm such a freakin Buckeye, it's ridiculous! My DH always says, "They really must put something in the water when you go to Ohio State" LOL!

I've not made it through one night game in the past week, I keep falling asleeping while watching and no one has had the heart to wake me up.  I am going to have to take a major nap on Monday so that I can keep my eyes open that late.  I can't wait!!!!  I just hope Ariana cooperates!

I'm actually going to talk to my boss about coming in late on Tuesday so I can stay up.  I'll still be exhausted by the end of the game, but at least I won't have to dread coming to work early the next morning...

Kelly, I had chills EVERYWHERE listening to Cie Grant.  I just remember that day...it was an amazing day--I was actually in the little O in the script, so I was able to see the seniors walking out to dot the I...it was SO cold, but so magical.  I hope we get to have one of those this year.....

I'm really excited too!!!! We all know they can win - and I love it when we do and all the announcers have to eat their words for bad mouthing us all year.

I haven't seen any of the video Tressel gave the team.  I'll have to keep my eyes open for that.  Jim Tressel is such a class act. 

Wish they'd start the game at 7:00 instead. I probably won't make it to the end either.

I got a cute marching trumpet player cookie cutter last weekend, so I'm making TBDBITL in cookie form.    I wonder if I can make enough to form Script Ohio?

Good idea about asking the boss to come in late...I'm going to do the same today!

I'm nervous myself, but really excited... except my poor dogs get freaked out during Buckeye games because DH yells so loudly at the TV. Can't wait to have a 90 lb lab sitting on my lap!

I am sooo excited!  I have a really good feeling about this one.  I just hope its a huge win for the Buckeyes.  I can't wait until Monday night!  I used a personal day on Tuesday so  I could celebrate and the fact that I knew I would be too exhausted to look at 20 bright eyed kids.

It was actually a DVD, Adjusti-Kate (good golly, I don't think I got that right...), but they played the audio on the radio this morning.

I'm so freaking excited, yet nervous.  I guess I'm just like you Kelly - guarded because I don't want a repeat from last year. I've missed the clips of the DVD from Tressel. I bet it would pump me up too!!!

Ill just be anxious to hear what Mark May has to say if (when) we win!  I can not understand why he goes out of his way to pick the opposing team.  I was watching - one of the ESPN shows the other night with him and Lou Holtz - and I forget who else. When Holtz picked OSU tow in - May said "I'm so glad you said that. Because you picked them to win last year, also."  So rude. I wish he'd get Trev Alberts'd.

Anyway - I hope I can stay awak Monday night too.  But I'll have to be in, bright and early Tuesday.

My brother and I are lucky enough to go to the game, and we are leaving this afternoon - I am SO excited!

I have to say I am nervous, but I feel we have the right mindset going into the game (unlike last year), and if we show up and play our best we have a legitimate shot of winning...

Dh took the next day off from work.  I used up all time while on maternity leave, so I'll be suffering.

I'm so freaking excited I can hardly stand it!! But I'm so nervous and scared!! But, I get this way before every game I know we can do it, everything just has to fall exactly into place! One wrong move, and I think we'll hand the game to them! Let's hope all of our boys show up with a serious attitude and kick some Bayou Bengal A$$!!

The good thing about living out West: the game will start at around 6:30, so it'll be over by 9:30-10 pm.

I'm actually glad we are the underdog this year and people aren't giving us a lot of respect. It's exactly what happened in 2002 and look how that turned out!  Plus I think we are a much better match against LSU than we were last year against Florida.
