Biggest Loser "Couples"
Are you guys liking this season so far? I thought the 1st epi was pretty good.
Did you notice the funny way they gave the teams their colors? The only african american team was "brown" the only team with one white guy and one black guy was "grey", etc.
Still don't know who my fav. team is yet...
Does anyone know if Bob and Jillian are gay? I've been seeing speculation about this but don't know if it's been confirmed anywhere.

I've always thought Bob was gay and I also think Jillian is too. I mentioned that to DH awhile back. Maybe it's because she's so hard core. I think she'd intimidate too many guys if she were straight!!
I also like the two mother/child teams (pink and orange). I thought the dad on the green team sucked and ruined it for his daughter. To me, the parent/child teams should have been the strongest, because as a parent, you should want your child to have the best chance.
I have the first episode DVR'ed to watch tonight or sometime this weekend. I thought the "couples" in the title meant like dating/engaged/married couples wanting to lose weight. To me, that seems a whole lot more interesting than siblings, friends, etc.
I like the ex-football players team (although EVERYTHING they said was a sports metaphor), the mother-son (orange) team, and the team that didn't know each other - because they were both so cute.

I think that Bernie (one of the strangers on the "blue" team) could look pretty hot if he lost a lot.
I'm loving it so far!
Hated the dad on the green team--he was a jerk and I hope his daughter does really well at home.
The people who just don't want to try really piss me off. You don't see as much of that on the normal Biggest Loser, but the mom on the pink team, the girls on the purple team, dad on the green team...all made me mad.
I think my favs are the divorced couple, mom and son, and the former football players. But we'll see. I'm just glad there's more Biggest Loser on--I was so bummed when last season was over! It motivates me to get off my behind and get moving.
Allison - I SO AGREE with the pink team. If I could, I would have reached though the TV and THROWN the pink mother down the hill!
DH was making funny comments about her since she pissed us off - entertaining - yes - but DEFINATELY needs a swift kick in the hiney!
