Hey, I saw below that you belong to the Gahanna Y. I'm thinking of switching gyms b/c the Lifetime at Easton is so expensive and not the most convienent. I just saw the Gahanna Y the other day and it's pretty close!
Do they have a pool? Is it for laps or kids or both? Do they have daycare? Can you get a family membership?
Re: ** Jody81 ** RE: Gahanna YMCA
We LOVE it! They have a pool with a huge water slide for the kids and an area for kids to play in the water, and they always have 2 lanes open for laps at all times. They also have an outside pool for summer, how fun...we could meet there with our boys! They have a daycare that will watch your boys while you work out. (There is a Y by the airport that has an actual daycare that you could leave your kids at while you are at work).
Family membership is 2 or more people, so we won't have to pay anymore money for our kid. It is $64/mo. for a family with no enrollment fees or anything and we can go to any Y in Columbus. They also have a ton of free group classes and tons of classes you pay for and they are like $28 for members for an 8 week class (two classes a week usually).
Adam really likes it because they have a gym where he can play basketball (that was his selling point when we chose to leave Lifestyle Fitness).
