New YEars Plans?

Bored at work, and dreading the fact that we have to work on Monday (even if they let us go early, the idea of BEING here hurts a little )

So I thought i would see what everyones plans for New Years are...

we're going to be away this weekend at my parents, but back on Sunday... I have to work Monday, the husband is off, I think we'll probably end up relaxing at home watching Rush Hour 3 (it's on it's way to me via netflix) and get Chineese (we've done this for the past three years)

it's a peaceful, relaxing way to ring in the new year, since 9 times out of 10 I don't let too much of the rest of the year be calm/quiet

We like having a quiet evening at home too and just ordering in. And I am hoping I can even stay awake for it. It will be like every other year, we watch a movie, I fall asleep and DH wakes me up at about 10 til, we watch the ball drop and then we go to bed. I know, a wild night!

I will probably be in bed before midnight. :-( I have friends having gtg's but I'm not feeling much like celebrating.

Dinner at home, then drinking old champage by myself cause DH doesn't like it. Boooo Hooooo.

We have tickets to the Jackets game on NYE. There are 4 of us going and I think the plan is to grab a bite to eat somewhere down in the arena and then bar hop...most likely end up at Bar Louis or Park St. DH has to work on NYE as well...he has to come straight from work to meet us at the game....I'll have a beer waiting for him

Since finding a babysitter on NYE is harder than winning the lottery, we're planning on getting take out from Hickory House (yummy ribs) having a glass of wine and just relaxing together for once

We are staying in and relaxing as well.  I'll probably make dinner and a few snacks and watch the Bourne Supremacy.  I'll probably fall asleep before midnight like I have the past two years.  Maybe I'll spice it up with some margaritas!

Some friends invited us over, but they live all the way in Galloway  (from Delaware, it's not too bad on the back roads thru Plain City, but it will take a while).  I pretty much committed to being there for a few hours, and being home before midnight.

We'll be celebrating our first new year living out here in Tempe. Unfortunately, the area of Tempe with a lot of bars and restaurants will be hosting the Insight Bowl Block Party which draws like 100,000+ people and is $25/person. Ummm, no thanks.  So, I think we are going to walk to a bar close to our apartment and drink there.  Chris and I love to go out and stuff every other day of the year, but for some reason, we are just not big NYE people.

Probably not much.  Mom said she'd watch booger but I doubt we do anything.  He goes to bed around 8:00 anyway so we'll put him to bed, one of us will probably grab some fast food, we'll watch a movie, and be asleep before 12! 

We live on the edge.

movies, wine and some carry out. i think we are still exhausted from the wedding/cruise and going nonstop for the past month! relaxation it is

At this point we will be starting to move some things into our new house and then sleeping in on Jan 1st and moving more things over to the house!

we're going to Cinci to party with our college friends, we'll dressing up for dinner and then dressing down to head to Dave and Busters to play games until the ball drops.

we are having friends over here at our apartment downtown tonight... making appetizers/cocktails then walking to BOMA for some dancing and drinks!
