Adventures in a sleep-number bed

DH's mom always puts us in her room when we stay there, which has a very-uncomfortable (in my opinion) sleep number bed in it.  Well, the first night we stayed there this time, DH decided to lower his side of the bed, because it was too hard.  We turned out the lights and maybe 20 minutes later, DH said "um, I need that remote back".  I turned on the lights, went to hand him the remote to change his number and he was gone!  He had lowered to "0" and it had slowly deflated, leaving him a good 6-8 inches lower than me!  I have never laughed so hard in my life - seeing a guy that's small (5'8", 145 lbs) to begin with all low and tiny in this big bed.  I literally almost hyperventilated I was laughing so hard.

The next night, I misjudged the height of the bed when I got up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, and I pretty much fell out of bed.  I went to the floor with a thud and started cracking up.  DH freaked out, thinking I was crying and jumped out to save me - LOL.
