** Danica **

Sounds like a fun adventure is brewing with your friend Chad - that's exciting and a nice distraction to all the other stuff you have going on!!  How did your mom do with the holidays?

Re: ** Danica **

  • It's definately a welcome distraction. He kind of caught me off guard so we'll see. If anything he gives the greatest hugs, and that's definately something I need right now.

My mom did okay with the holidays. She pretty much slept the whole time. She didn't even have the energy to open my present. :-(  She's out of ICU now and in a normal hospital room. Hopefully this week she can move to the nursing home and then eventually we can bring hospice in to her house.

How was your holiday? It's hard to believe this time next year you'll have two beautiful, handsome babies to celebrate with.

  • Hugs are very important, I'm glad he gives good ones.  :o

I hope your mom continues to improve and gets to go back to her home eventually.  I have noticed with my grandparents that even though things are harder for them at home, their attitudes are so much better when they are out of the hospital and attitude makes such a difference in recovery.

Our holidays were good, just Bry and I which was low key and relaxing.  We are trying to enjoy just sitting around and relaxing and doing nothing as much as possible before our lives go topsy turvy.  We've made progress on the nursery - I'll prob. post some pics next week (if I can figure it out).

  • Thanks Alicia.

You definately needed to have a laid back Christmas because in no time you'll have two tiny little guys who will need your constant attention. No time for relaxation until they turn 18.:-)  he he he
