She said they are still available but you need to act quickly b/c her husband has someone who is interested too.  Below is the info.  Someone from NW would have to buy them so I would need a check/cash from you first before I would give the money to her.  She gave me her home and cell number so if you want them I can contact her.

If anyone would like 2 tickets in the OSU section for the OSU vs LSU National Championship bowl game on January 7, 2008 in New Orleans - here is your opportunity. What a nice Christmas gift this would make for someone special. Anyway, here is the deal. EBay has them going for $2000 ($1000 per ticket). But my mom is donating the profit over the face value to The Ohio State University scholarship fund. So, basically you can look at this as buying two tickets for $375 (face value for 2 tix) and then making a donation to The Ohio State University for $1625. It is a tax deduction to you and it provides a great benefit to the university we all love and cherish. Finally, to help increase the amount going to the scholarship fund, we need it to be from a Nationwide employee so we can do matching funds. This is a FIRST COME FIRST SERVE offer. The first one willing to buy the tickets get them. This offer will end on December 20 so that if no one wants them, we have time to sell on Ebay.

OMG..I'm soooo interested. Do you happen to know the section numbers of the seats! We would definitely be willing to meet up with whoever and give you cash if this is something that works out.

I just talked to her and she said that OSU hasn't mailed out the tickets yet.  They are going in the mail tomorrow but her family did get a letter saying they definitely have tickets, so they are expecting them Sat or Mon and will know the actual seats/section then.  They do know it will be in the OSU block, whereever that is within the stadium.

If you want the tickets, then I will officially commit to her when I have money from you.  Nothing against you of course - just that I don't know you.  )  If you want to talk about it with your DH or whatever and then let me know (maybe bring the $$ by tonight or tomorrow) you can email me at alicia_ferraro at hotmail.com

I totally understand!! I'd be super cautious too! But that definitely sounds like a plan. I'll email you this evening. I'll include my home number so that we can talk about details etc.  I work downtown too so I'm sure we could work something out to exchange the money--just not sure how DH would feel exchanging money w/ no tickets in hand, especially if it's cash (which I'm sure she'd prefer??)  Thank you thank you!

I know how you feel - this girl at my work doesn't seem shady and has given away her mom's tix before but I can't guarantee anything b/c I just work with her.  Check out angie_sue's option too.  I know my DH would never give $$ without getting tix.  If he feels uncomfortable about it I can tell the girl at my work and see if she's willing to wait till next week (like the 27th) based on a promise of buying the tix.  I'll look for your email later.
