catholic mommies

Nothing was mentioned about a donation for baptism at our class, but I know when I got married my parents gave some sort of gift/donation to either the priest or the church back home.

Have any of you given a donation at your child's baptism here in C-bus and if you don't mind telling me how much?

Re: catholic mommies

  • We did (we asked the church secetary the "normal").  I think it was $50.  Might have been $75.

We gave it right to the priest in a nice thank you card.
  • We did the same as the pp. We gave a $50 donation in Maisie's name in a card to the priest right after the ceremony. We also invited him over to our house to join our families for lunch & cake. HTH.
