Well I see that this board isn't very active, but I figured I would see if anyones out there! 
Hi everyone! I am moving to Charleston, WV in about a week or two. I am currently looking for a place to live which is always difficult. We actually made an offer on a house in Cross Lanes the end of Jan but then found out it is a short sale and are still waiting to hear anything. If anyone knows where to look for a place to live I would really appreciate it. Anyways, I just wanted to say hi and see if I could maybe find some people out there since I am moving to a completely new state and know noone!

Hi there! I'm in North Central WV, about 2 1/2 hours away from Charleston. This board is pretty dead. I check it from time to time.

you could check in st albans, teays valley, and hurricane. All of those towns are right along I-64.
P.S. I live in northern WV but I went to Marshall University in huntington and my husband is from charleston.
