Question about Godparents
Yesterday H's sister asked us to be Godparents to our baby niece. 
This will be my first Godchild and I'm not really sure what's a good idea for a gift. Do Godparents usually give money? Or a gift and money?
I'm really excited about this and I want to make sure I do something special. If any of you have Godchildren or just have any ideas, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

Jewelry is a good idea too. I have a silly question though. Do they make baby jewelry (she's 3 months)? Or do you buy something that she wears when she's older?
yes they have baby jewlery. if you are anywhere near levittown go to Tri-County Flea Market. up stairs they have a HUGE jewlery and diamond exchange. you can always find something there for a reasonable price. i go to Sam at Diamond Roof for everything. he made all of my bridal party jewlery (my eternity band, triple pearl pendants with lacy diamonds wrapped around them for the older girls, the jr BMs got single pearl with the same design, the grooms men got bulova watches with diamonds, a gift for my MIL, FIL and mom and i bought a rolex for DH as a wedding gift and he did the diamond encrusting on it)
for my flower girl i got her a small pendant with a pearl in the middle and diamonds dotted around it. its cute for her to wear now but its nice so she can wear it when she grows up. i got diamond crosses for my ring boys as well with the same idea.
I will definitely check out Tri County. I've heard of it but I've never been there. The jewelry that you got for your bridal party sounds beautiful! Now I can't wait to go look at jewelry for the baby. : )
