I have time this weekend, so I was hoping to get back in the tradition of making a ton of Christmas cookies. My problem is that I want to bake this weekend, won't see IL's until next weekend, and won't see my parents until the weekend after. This seems way too long for cookies to still be fresh.
Would you....
1) Hold off this weekend and try to bake mid-week and bake one batch
2) Hold off this weekend and try to bake mid-week each week, preparing for the family that I'll see that weekend
3) Bake this weekend and freeze
I'm not sure if the answers vary based on what I'm making, but what's on the list thus far is: toffee-chocolate candy, butterscotch blondies, sugar frosted cut-outs, low-cal ginger cookies and chocolate-mint cookies
