Apartment recs on East and South sides please

I'm doing a search for my brother. We need something affordable, close to shops and things, but not super scary neighborhood. Price ranges too are appreciated! I am finding lots online but personal recs are always better. Thanks!

Christopher Wren on Morse Road by Easton is nice (I lived there) and so is Chesnut Hill on Morse Road (have a friend that lives there). Both are Gahanna and in a nice area.

We like where we live and they have both 1 bedroom garden and 2 bedroom townhomes. Millstream Village in Reynoldsburg. I'm not sure of pricing on the 1 bedroom, but 2 bedroom is about $700 (we're month-to-month and have a garage, so I don't know the exact price for a 12 month lease).

My DH lived in the Chestnut Hill Apartments (off of Morse Rd just West of Hamilton on the North side) before we were married.  I thought they were very nice and the price range was I think around $700-800 for a 1 bedroom with garage. 

He also looked at Christopher Wren which were a little older and he couldn't get a garage there.  The ones right by Easton are really expensive.

I second all of the Chestnut Hill recs.  I had a friend in college that lived there and I liked them alot.
