Apartment recs on East and South sides please

I'm doing a search for my brother. We need something affordable, close to shops and things, but not super scary neighborhood. Price ranges too are appreciated! I am finding lots online but personal recs are always better. Thanks!

Re: Apartment recs on East and South sides please

  • Christopher Wren on Morse Road by Easton is nice (I lived there) and so is Chesnut Hill on Morse Road (have a friend that lives there). Both are Gahanna and in a nice area.
  • We like where we live and they have both 1 bedroom garden and 2 bedroom townhomes. Millstream Village in Reynoldsburg. I'm not sure of pricing on the 1 bedroom, but 2 bedroom is about $700 (we're month-to-month and have a garage, so I don't know the exact price for a 12 month lease).
  • My DH lived in the Chestnut Hill Apartments (off of Morse Rd just West of Hamilton on the North side) before we were married.  I thought they were very nice and the price range was I think around $700-800 for a 1 bedroom with garage.

He also looked at Christopher Wren which were a little older and he couldn't get a garage there.  The ones right by Easton are really expensive.
  • I second all of the Chestnut Hill recs.  I had a friend in college that lived there and I liked them alot.
