So apparently there's a Hannah Montana concert at the Arena tonight and everyone at NW is leaving early to avoid the chaos.  I think it's hilarious that she (and the Jonas Brothers) are having such an effect on the city.

Alicia, you know the same thing happens for The Wiggles and any of the other "kids" shows. There are some CRAZY parents out there!

Ooh if you only knew! My 10yro SIL is OBSESSED!!!! There were tickets on auction on WNCI yesterday that went for $3100. CRAZY!!! Even the 5yro that I babysit and her 3yro brother love her! I really don't get it...

I didn't know who she was until recently. I have a couple of friends at work who's children are devestated that they can't go to the concert tonight.

Yeah, her tickets sold out in under 14 minutes I guess, crazy! I guess that every show has been sold out on her tour so far similar to that and tickets are going for astronomical amounts. Traffic is going to be horrible!

Last night there was a piece about it on the news. It was showing this family with 3 little girls, who are all going to the show, for at least $130.00 per ticket! (That was starting price!) I told my husband that they should have told their kids to "zip it " about the show and instead used that money to get some new furniture/decorate their living room, cause that was pretty sad looking.

My child will be so screwed.

I have no clue who Hannah Montana or the Jonas Brothers are. I'm guessing some teeny-bopper people who sing? I only found out a few months ago what High School Musical was.

Melissa - Hannah Montana is actually Miley Cyrus (Billy Ray's daughter) who has her own show on Disney called Hannah Montana. It is aimed towards Tweens.
