Does anyone here happen to have any contacts with someone at Radio Disney? We were at a Radio Disney event over the weekend. My 7 year old daughter was told that the Jonas Brothers would be there this week. They are doing a "take over" which will be aired on Friday. The only problem is that it is going to be pre-recorded sometime this week. The Radio Disney people said that the studio is in the lobby of the Disney Channel building so we are more than welcome to come watch (as long as we buy something at the Starbucks in the lobby) but he didn't know what day they would be recording with the Jonas Brothers. I was hoping to try to find someone who might know. I would love to take her since she is a huge fan. I know this is a little out there but I figured I would try.
Re: Radio Disney
i mentioned this to the teen and she totally lit up, but we haven't had any luck either. ?oh, well.
they probably don't want a ginormous mob scene at their building. ?any mention of the jo bros usually results in one.?
Yeah. I totally know. Been there done that with the MOBS of people. It is crazy. I don't think I have ever seen anything like that. We did Disneyland for their book signing. That was nuts. Kind of reminded me of the tv clips from when Elvis, the Beetles, or even Michael Jackson were big. The girls screaming and crying hysterically. I just don't get it. I mean, I liked NKOTB and other bands but I was never so crazed to start crying or to be hysterical. The Jonas Brothers actually talked to my daughter and shook her hand at Disney and I look down at her after they left and she is crying. Again, I just don't get it.
She is on spring break this week so I guess she will be sitting with the phone in hand all day today & tomorrow trying to talk to them. Lol... My sister is babysitting the girls so at least she knows what one of them will be doing all day.
