Rave: My allergist

Since 2002, I thought I was allergic to: dairy, wheat, oats, oranges, fish, and corn.

I'm not.  I am only allergic to shrimp, but i have never really had a reaction.  My primary care doctor (who I no longer see) did the tests in 2002 and was wrong.

I am raving my allergist more because of availability and timely-ness.  Not to mention he is just great!  His name is Dr. McNeil, and he works at OSU and in an office building off 23, near 270 on the northside.  I didn't wait longer than 5 minutes in the waiting room or in the "room" for him to come and see me.  I often wait 20 minutes for doctors!

And when I scheduled the appointment, it only took a week to get in, and when I didn't have school yesterday, I could come in two hours earlier.

So if you're looking, I'd suggest him and I suggest going to get tested NOW, before it is actually allergy season and everyone and their brother wants an appointment.

Re: Rave: My allergist

  • Will you email me his phone number? I really need to get the test done.

  • Wow!  That's a really impressive doctor, and it's a really big difference in your allergies!  Will it make a difference as to what you eat and cook, or are you like my sister who carries and epi-pen and benadryl everywhere and eats whatever she wants?
