We just got a call today that our insurance is going to pay for the boys to get the Synagis vaccine. This vaccine protects them against the deadly RSV virus, which masks as a common cold in most poeple, but can be deadly to children. Preemies are especially susceptible. I actually cried b/c I never thought they'd pay...it's 2,000 a shot, and they get them once a month through April.
Thank God!
Re: Prayer answered by God!
Congrats! wow Meghan, is that our Olentangy insurance?? That's amazing if it was!
Did they cover any of your fertility treatments? We have our initial consultation / counseling next week.
Again, congrat's and what a wonderful Christmas miracle

: )
A co-worker (who also had twin boys premature) had to take out a loan to pay for the shots. It's stupid that it's even an issue.
I'm so glad you don't have to worry about it.
Jen--Yep, our Olentangy insurance...I'd be ahppy to tell you about what infertiltiy stuff I was able to get paid. tbonegrl07 at aol dot com
Alicia- I was on the phone with them and casually mentioned it and they said they'd pay. For me the hard part was getting the lady who corrdinates it from the pedi to call the insurance, and pharmacy. Since it is such a rare shot, it's being overnighted from van wert OH to me tomorrow.
