what a morning!

I hope everyone arrived at work safely this morning.  It took us about 30 minutes extra to get to work and we only saw one car in a ditch right by our house.

It took me an hour to get to work and normally it takes 25-30 minutes. Something's wrong when I can go faster on Main St than I can on 270 and there aren't any accidents!

Normally takes me about 25-30 minutes and it took us about an hour and 10 minutes.  There were cars EVERYWHERE in the ditches along 270, too.  It was a freakin' mess.  Plus all those SUV drivers seemed to think they were invincible and couldn't be troubled with clearing off their windshields and liked to cut people off.  Grrr!!!  I feel like I could puke I was so stressed out.

Well I decided this morning that I really don't feel like risking the drive to work yet with the little one tagging along.  We are in Licking county and grandparents where he goes each day are in Fairfield county.  We are hanging out here and I might go in around noon...we'll see!!!

I'm not driving anywhere.  My @#$*(@#%&2ing six month old puppy decided that snow is a great game, and then slipped her leash at 7:30am.  Watching her play was adorable...chasing her around the front yard so near Bethel was effing terrifying.  She's now wearing two harnesses clipped onto the same leash, and having some serious crate time.  Given that sort of luck, my wee little Toyota would be on the side of the road under one of those idiot SUVs the pp mentioned, and I just don't have time for that.

I'm so happy I stayed home today.  It's just not worth it to me to drive.  I told my boss I would take an unpaid day but he said I could just work from home.

2 hours and counting! I'm not even out of hilliard yet. Ugh! I'm typing on my phone in stopped traffic. I can so not afford any pto time either. Happy holidays

DAMN!  You are not kidding.  I left at 10 to 8am and I got to work at 9:30am.  It usually takes me about 25 minutes or so to get here... ugh!

Wow, I must have been lucky.  It took me about 40 minutes to get to work (normally 20-30).  I saw that 270 was a mess, so I didn't even bother.
