I actually used to work in Bricker and parking is PITA over there. And actually you can't park in front of the building unless you have an A pass and usually there are no spots at all. If you drive, park in the Arps garage and walk. Personally, unless it is really cold, I would just walk (sorry, I don't know the weather as I now live in AZ). I've walked from Bricker to 10th and Neil before and it took me maybe 12-15 minutes at the absolute most.
I worked in Bricker for 3 years and just left my job at the end of August to move out of state. Since it's where most of the top administrators are located, it has a different vibe and atmosphere than other buildings and areas of campus. May I ask what office you are interviewing with?
Re: Any OSU girls here?
I'm here! I work on 12th.
You could park in the Arps garage if you've got an A pass or any garage pass, but otherwise I'd probably walk. You could also hop on the #2 for a couple of blocks...
Good luck on the interview! Do you mind if I ask what the position is?
I feel kind of weird posting it on here- is that silly? I first interviewed with three women. Who knows- they could be nesties? I hope not!
I have an A pass, but it seems silly to drive from where I am, park at Arps and walk to Bricker. It would take just as long, right? So, I think I am going to walk and get the fresh air on the way.
The position would not ultimately be located in Bricker. It's for the OR. That's actually kind of a drawback. I really like feeling connected to campus, and I already don't 100% where I am right now. It's also a afurther commute. However, I think it would be a great move professionally and I would learn a lot.
