Dear Ohio

Dear Ohio
It is now December 2nd.
The precipitation as such should consist mainly of snow, perhaps with a little sleet. Not torrential rain.
Please correct this error immediately.
Thank you,
Amanda

Re: Dear Ohio

  • I have to disagree.  As a pg woman who has to drive to work and a Dr. appt. tomorrow, I would much rather have rain than snow/ice.  I hope it doesn't snow or ice till AFTER my babies are born!
  • I have to say I am pretty happy with the temp also!!  Overprotective DH would be even more annoying right now if it is icy/snowy out.
  • I was due last Feb, on the 13th actually.  there was a HUGE snowstorm - I forget what level, but you weren't supposed to drive.  DH kept telling me to hold him in my belly as long as possible.  I managed to wait until the 16th, when I was induced.  He was born the 17th, but it snowed like crazy that night :)  I feel ya, pp ladies!!!!!  But I do love snow.
  • Dear Ohio,

I get depressed when there is no snow during the holidays. PLEASE SEND SNOW! (Please note that I would ask for snow to cease on January 2nd.)

    Thank you,
    Wendy

P.S. I am not asking for a level 3 or even a level 2...just a nicely covered ground.

  • Haha! We had such a boomer of some thunder here that the lights flickered and I shut my computer down for a few hours. It sounded like May or June out there! PG ladies, consider this: When my mom was pg with me, she went into labor on Jan 4th at 6am. Dad drove her to the hospital in an ice storm in upstate NY, with the windows down and my mom had no coat on! Dad dropped mom and L&D emergency and parked the car. I was born before my dad got into the building at 8am! May you pregnant ladies have safe and happy winter deliveries! BUT, I will wish for snow on all the days that I have not seen a baby is due from this board...make sense? Mmmk.
