Most bizzare story heard in bathroom
I just overheard this lady in the bathroom who was talking on her cell phone telling someone the most bizzare story....
She said her SIL was in the parking lot of some store and saw a gift card on the ground. She picked up the gift card and left. A couple weeks later she decided that finding a gift card is like finding money on the ground and couldn't be traced so she used it at the store to buy something. Next thing she knows, she's arrested and is told she has to spend 2-6 months in jail for theft. She has kids (at least one teenager) and could miss the prom and graduation.
Isn't that bizzare? Even the lady talking on the phone said there must be more to the story.
Re: Most bizzare story heard in bathroom
hmm, that is weird. must be more to the story...
Here's the part I can't get over...this woman was talking in the bathroom on her cell phone?? agggghhhh, that drives me crazy.
I think that talking on cell phones in public (or I guess any) bathrooms might be my new pet peeve. I was in Wal-Mart a few weeks ago and some lady was carrying on a crazy cell conversation in her stall. When one of her friends came into the bathroom and started mocking her for talking on her phone while people were standing in line, the girl said, "Well, I *am* using the bathroom, I'm not just hogging the stall!" Yuck! Who wants to be on the phone with someone who's using the bathroom?
I purchased two gift cards from old navy yesterday...they asked if I wanted gift receipts? I thought that was odd but she said if they were lost or stolen they could be tracked.
Is that a possiblity?
Are you serious?? That's crazy!!! I'm surprised that they are that trackable. Some stores are crazy about getting the persons name that they are going to and others are so lax about it...
How strange!?!?!?!
