Poll: Where do you purchase gas?

What gas station are you most likely to fuel up at, if all the prices are the same?

Re: Poll: Where do you purchase gas?

  • Probably Kroger since I get a discount there.  If not there, then the place closest to us--a UDF.
  • i dont have any loyalty to gas stations, i just try and stay away from the scary looking ones.
  • Kroger or Speedway if there's no Kroger nearby
  • Circle K or Meijer only because they are close. Or if I realize I'm out of gas on my way to work, I hit up the Speedway, since Circle K and Meijer are the opposite direction from my route to work.
  • giant eagle if i have cents off
otherwise whichever is closest cuz i'm one of those wait till the last minute people!

  • giant eagle - exclusively.  with 20 cents off for every 50 you spend (including gift cards, dry cleaning, video rental, photos) it's hellacheap!  right now i have 1.20 off per gallon.  but, I don't go anywhere during the week so a tank lasts a long time in my milf-mobile (minivan)  haha.

it really pays off!  i had to go to petsmart for dog and cat food, and bought a giftcard at GE before I went.  bumps up the fuel perks.  it's almost addicting!  :)

  • If I have fuel perks I'll go to Get-Go...otherwise it's speedway for me.
  • Shell or Giant Eagle.

I have a Shell MasterCard, so I get 5% back on all Shell Gas purchases (and 1% back on all other purchases).  That money back comes directly off my next month's bill, so I average almost 1 free fill-up a month since I use my credit card for everything (and pay it off each month).

If I have more than a dollar off at Giant Eagle I will go there.  Although the one by my house is always 10-20 cents more expensive than the Shell I usually go to.  It makes me mad to be wasting my FuelPerks just to get down to a price I would normally pay.
  • Usually Kroger, Giant Eagle (Get Go), Speedway or UDF Mobile.

  • Sunoco on Sullivant Avenue it's closest unless it's after dark then I'd probably go to Speedway at Harrisburg Pike.
