David's Mamaw (grandmother) found out she had brain cancer 2 months after the boys were born. She had surgery in May and had the tumor removed, but has lost her health and only has a month or two left to live. It's been very sad for David's family...his dad and Aunt (her children) have been taking care of her.
David's cousin and his wife announced when we were there for Thanksgiving that they are pregnant. I told David's aunt it was a blessing to help her have a bringht spot with all that is going on... This is her first grandchild. David's cousin's wife has a 11 year old from a previous relationship.
David's aunt just e-mailed me....they found out at the u/s today it's TWINS!! OMG! And his other cousin and his wife just had a baby who was 7 weeks at Thanksgiving, so we'll have 5 kids within a little over a year apart on his side, including another set of twins! I am SO excited!
Happy news! And a weird coincedence!
Re: OMG, Amazing news!!!
Wow that's amazing news!
Babies seem to know the perfect time to come My parents' grief over the loss of my grandma has been relieved a bit by the announcement of two new grandchildren (SIL is pg with their 6th) and another grandchild coming via marriage - my brother will be adopting Ethan and he's such a cool kid!
