Kiss and cry week in LA - private school admissions letters went out
Man, this was worse than waiting to hear from med schools! And it is not even my kid! Anyone else spend the weekend waiting?

Oh man, tell me about it! My little nephew got in to Viewpoint in Calabasas and if I had to hear about it one more time from my SIL I was going to scream. When the mail didn't come on Saturday I thought she was going to die...then it came via email today! LOL.
the private school letters for San Fran went out last week; my dad/stepmom/brother live up there, and they were on tenterhooks waiting to get his admissions letters.
He got into his 3rd and 4th choice schools, and was wait-listed on the others, but with several thousand kids trying to get into only a few hundred spots it's not likely he'll snag a spot in the first-choice schools.
