Holiday/Going Away Party Ideas
I am hosting a holiday party and a surprise going away party for a friend who is moving to California in January. Any fun ideas/decorations? I want it to be fun and unique. I will be serving alcohol so if you can think of any themed drinks that would be great too. I'm going to buy a bunch of post cards and have people fill them out with well wishes for him but that's really all I can think of.

beach: I think the decorations are self explanatory
Hollywood: black and silver decorations; stars (maybe a "Walk of Fame"); "Director's Chair" with the guest of honor's name. Drinks could be a bit more on the "fancy" side, like wine, cosmos, and other martinis.
You could also do a wine party since Cali is known for it! Have all the bottles from there...and you could have Giradelli (not sure how to spell that) chocolate since it is from San Fran! Have fun planning, sounds like it'll be a good time!
