Anyone decorating for Christmas yet?

I haven't even gotten my boxes out yet! Surprising, usually I'm weeks early cause I get so excited. I'm definitely feeling holiday cheer, just not the decorating bug! But I saw someone driving a cut tree home yesterday, and I felt a little itch!

I started dragging up the boxes yesterday.  We were gonna wait cause we were having new carpet installed on Monday but now the carpet isn't available yet!  ARGH!  It will be the middle of the month and I am not waiting to put up our things until then.  I will probably just wait until I tear it all down. 

I have started on the tree in the entry and the decorations in the kitchen/living room.  Seems kinda bear this year...not sure why.

I also started outside stuff...I figure this is the warmest day of the week. 

I tend to start something and move on to another project...sean calls me "sidetrack girl!"

I put up my tree last Sunday, because we had two sets of guests last week.  Probably later tonight I'll start wrapping gifts!  I tend to buy presents all year, so wrapping and tagging will help me make sure I'm done buying for everyone

Tree is up and is 3/4 decorated.  Chris put up the outside lights yesterday.  All my "stuff" is out (decor and such). 

All I have left is to catch Ethan on a "good day", take his x-mas picture and upload to snapfish.  he's sick right now so "good days" are few and far between.

Yep, I'm all done except for the xmas tree.  My mom helped me a ton this weekend!

We are all done, I had to work on Friday, but when I came home, my husband surprised me and did it all   Granted, it's not a lot because we live in a small townhome, but I didn't expect him to do the decorating.

We have very few decorations that we put up in the living room only and we did it last night after Connor went to bed.  I never have my stuff up this early but we got all excited because we bought an artificial tree on Friday and wanted to see it put together.

DH put the lights up outside when it was warm this week and my parents, and ILS put up our Christmas tree on Thanksgiving.  That is about all the decorating going on at our house this year.

We were going to put our tree up last night although I had to sleep because I had to work at 3am.  So hopefully this week.  Unfortunately I don't have a whole lot of Christmas decorations for the house...

Nope.  We're spending Christmas at the in-law's house this year, and I see no reason to overhaul everything if we're on the road and don't get to enjoy it in our own home.

Yes:)   We put up our Christmas tree on Friday.   I put some more decorations up yesterday.  I still need to finish my center piece for the kitchen table.  I think we will put up lights outisde next weekend.  I love this time of year! Especially since the in - laws are coming to our new house this year.

I'm all done. But wouldn't you know it, a light went out on my prelite tree so now I have to find the culprit.  :-(

Ugh... I want to get it all out and decorate, but I'm up to my nose in a paper due Wednesday and I have finals next Monday (along with my court date, joy), so I will be busy studying this week It may have to wait until next Tuesday!

I just put our little 3 foot fake tree up, no real tree this year due to how much we will be travelling. I am going to try it overnight and see if the cats knock it over, and if they dont I can put the ornaments on tomrrow.

We put up our tree last night and I dug my Xmas decoration box out of the storage space last night.  I'll be decorating all week, my best friend is coming to stay with us on Thursday and he loves Christmas decorations!  I'm trying to finish before he gets here.
