PSP v. Nintendo DS

Hey everyone!  I hope that you all had a great Thanksgiving!  But, as it does every year, the end of Thanksgiving brings us the beginning of Christmas shopping!

I am trying to decide if I would like a PSP or a Nintendo DS.  Can anyone tell me of the pros and cons of each, and which system you prefer?  Thank you! :)

Have a good weekend!

Re: PSP v. Nintendo DS

  • Dh said PSP has better games and can watch movies.

  • I guess it really depends on what you want it for. The PSP is more of a stationary play on the TV kind of thing. Where the DS is like a gameboy. We have an Xbox and a DS. When my DH was in the hospital getting his hip replaced, I was so thankful to have the DS with me to keep my hands busy;) We did get a web browser for the DS so we have a portable web access for it.

  • We have a PSP and multiple DSs.  Personally, I am more of a fan of the DS.  I think it has more versatile games that are more fun.  DH is a total Sony fanboy, but he has not played his PSP for about a year.  He complains that the battery doesn't last long and there are a few pixels on his screen that don't work anymore.  If you want to watch a movie with the PSP, you can only watch about half of it before you need to recharge the battery.
