Why I super puffy heart Once Upon A Child...

There were a few things I didn't register for b/c I didn't know if we would need them.  Turns out, yes we have thanks to the Colic.

1.  A bouncy seat.  I wanted the Fisher Price Ocean Wonder's and you CAN NOT get them in stores.  And they're like $45.00.  Went to Once Upon a Child and found one in perfect condition for $17.00!!!  Ethan is IN LOVE with him bouncy seat (thank God).

2.  Play Mat.  The one that kept getting highly recommended on the 0-6 month board is between $55 and $60 in stores.  "Gymini Deluxe Lights and Sounds."  Found it at Once Upon a Child with the instructions and in the original package for $18.00!!!  Ethan stares at the toys with amazement.

I super puffy heart that store!

The only other thing I am going to need is a jumperoo.  I'll be going back for one soon!

Re: Why I super puffy heart Once Upon A Child...

  • I rarely buy Connor any new toys anymore.  I even sent my mom there to buy some toys for the kids so they aren't so bored at their house.  You should check out the clothes too, when Connor was smaller I would find brand new outfits for around $5-$7.
  • Most of Ethan's sleepers are from there.  I scour the racks for Zip-Up sleepers as I HATE snaps at 3:00am!  LOL!
  • One of my co-workers really enjoys Trader Tots in Grandview on 5th Ave.  It's basically the same as Once Upon a Child and they have some great deals too.

Just thought I would share in case you were looking for something in particular and wanted another option.

  • Awesome!

I wante dto let you know that the Rainforest Jumperoo is on sale this week at the Britton Rd. Wal-Mart (270 & Tuttle crossing) for $59.99! I went to the Bethel Rd Wal-Mart and it was not on sale there. WTF?

I bought the Jumperoo for Cameron, it looks so fun!

    Good luck!

  • The jumperoo is the most fun!!  Connor loved his and now my sister's baby uses it.  Connor now goes up to it when his cousin's are in it and pushes the buttons and "helps" them bounce up and down.
  • Which location of OUAC did you go to? I went to check out the one at Hard and Sawmill the other day (I'm 17 wks) and wasn't very impressed with the selection, other than clothes. I'm sure it changes all the time but are other locations better?
    tia!
  • Ray* - the OUAC in Dublin just moved to the Karric Square Center on Frantz Rd. and it is huge, probably twice the size of the other OUACs I have been to.
  • The walmart at Tuttle always has stuff on sale that's not on sale at the one on georgesville too. How odd.
