TTC Update

I thought I'd keep you all posted as to what is going on.  It's been almost 3 months since going off the pill and still no period.  In addition to that my boobs started producing (and leaking) breast milk.  I confirmed I wasn't pg with a lot of HPTs.  I scheduled an appt. with my ob/gyn to see what is going on.  She thinks my body is producing too much prolactin which explains the leaking boobs and no period since prolactin supresses ovulation.  They did blood work on Friday and it is supposed to come back this week, but she is on vacation.  It will be atleast next week before I can talk to her again to see what the plan will be if my prolactin is elevated.  In the meantime I'm taking Provera to "jump start" my period.

Holy crap, Megan, that's scary!  I hope the doctor is able to figure out why your body is doing that...so bizarre.  ((HUGS))  I hope you find something out soon and you're able to conceive very soon!!!

Oh no! When I went of BC I never got a period, and went in after 5 months with no AF in sight and then was dx with PCOS. I still never did have a period before I was pg, but the next phase was Provera or Clomid to jump start me. I hope the medicine works and your blood work comes back OK!

oh wow, that is a crazy story!  I feel the pain of TTC. I'm at month 7, and it looks like we are on to month 8 any day now.  I do get my period but its all over the board from 26-36 days.
