Poll: Thanksgiving plans?

We're going to Las Vegas to spend the first holiday with DH's mother since they moved out there four years ago.  Can't wait!  We've had our own Thanksgiving here the past few years, which has also been nice, but will be good to see MIL!

Re: Poll: Thanksgiving plans?

  • We are going to Springfield to spend Thanksgiving with H's family.  My family decided to do Thanksgiving in Charlotte, NC this year, so we aren't going.  :-(
  • Headed to Findlay to see the ILs.  It's going to be a drama-filled holiday season, though....
  • My brother + fiance + kid are flying in from TX on Tuesday and spending one night with us here.  Then DH and I will go over Wed, so we'll be there in the AM, b/c we do most of the cooking for the big dinner.  We'll hang out with my parents, gparents, brothers and families all weekend.  MY parents are throwing an engagement/"meet the fiancee and her son" party on Saturday, so we'll stay through that.

DH's Thanksgiving job:  he has Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday to work on sorting through boxes and cleaning out the nursery (he's off all week).  If he's really good, perhaps paint will go up!
  • Thanksgiving is at my house w/ my parents, brother, DH's parents, probably my grandparents, and possibly my cousin and his boyfriend.  The best part, mom is bringing all the food!!! :)
  • We're up in the air. We're supposed to go to DH's family, but we have my mom's on Friday night. And they're baptizing my nephew in DH's hometown on Sunday, so we may go Sat-Sun so we aren't driving back and forth.
  • Flying home to Seattle in a week! Cannot wait!
  • We are headed to St Louis/Kansas. The juror is still not in on which! Basically, on Tuesday night we are driving to St Louis where DH's parents live, and then they are deciding where we go from there, probably Witchita, Kansas to see his Dad's side of the family. I am really looking forward to seeing them all and helping cook some great food!!
  • I'm having my family over for Thanksgiving breakfast. Hopefully we can spring my mom from the nursing home for a few hours. :-)  Then I'll probably head to my SIL's mom's house for dinner.  They are like my second family.
  • We are headed up to Detroit to see my family. My sister just had a baby last week so I excited to see my niece again!

  • we'll be spending it with the ILs in Wooster and Canton :) can't wait!
  • This should be a very interesting Thanksgiving.

My sister may be induced on Saturday, so I will be going to see her in Indy this weekend.  And then Thanksgiving, my parents are going to her place and I am going to meet my BF's parents in N. Canton.  Scary scary!!  :)

  • Thanksgiving with my family on Thursday in Mansfield and then Thanksgiving on Sat. afternoon with DH's family in New Albany.  So much for trying to eat healthy that week!
  • We are going to Wapakoneta to celebrate with DH's family on Thursday, back to Wapak on Friday for a quasi-engagement party for my SIL, and then to Warren on Saturday to see my family.

'Tis the season for Happy Traveling :)

  • Thanksgiving is with my family this year :) We didn't have to divide the time since Jason's family is going up to Toledo, which was nice. My Dad is cooking and I can't wait! Next year he'll be upset because we'll be in Chicago...it'll be my first Thanksgiving away from home.
  • We're having Thankgiving out here in Arizona by ourselves since I only get Thursday off. We are going to be tailgating and going to the ASU/USC game, so that is pretty exciting.
  • I will go to my mom house for Thanksgiving.  She holds it at her house every year.

  • We're going to my mom's house on T-giving and heading to his parent's house (Toledo area) for the weekend.
  • DH wanted to host Thanksgiving last year but I said NO WAY since we were in a tiny apartment. Since we just moved into a new house, DH decided that we should cook. Wonderful! (I hope you can sense the sarcasm) So, we're cooking. Beside the fact that I am still having difficulty finding things, I have to admit I am pretty excited. Me, DH, DH's mom and dad, my mom, dad, and brother, and maybe a family friend or two will all be there, and everyone is bringing something to share. I am also changing up the traditional menu that my mom makes every year and adding some new items, so I am excited to try them. Should be interesting.
