Update on my mom
Well my mom is doing better than she has the last couple of weeks. God must have heard all of your prayers!!!! She's actually talking in complete sentences and **kind of** finishing her thoughts all the way through. Her memory is a little fuzzy, but it's not bad considering all she has been through. Her surgical site is healing nicely, but she has a long way to go. She's cut from under her breast to the middle of her back. YIKES And she has a hole in her back where the drainage tube was. She had problems with it last week, but it's so much better as of late.
She fell trying to get to the bathroom on Saturday so she's got the nastiest bruise down her back and all over her butt. It's really sad because she's having trouble walking. Don't know if she'll ever get back to normal with walking, but that's why she's in theraphy. She is **suppose** to be moved to a nursing home today. But still no word from my sister on that.
Right now she is NOT going to do chemo as she is not strong enough to handle the sickness that comes along with it. So we as a family are trying to convince my mom that when/if she is able to have chemo, to live out her remaining days without chemo and try her best to enjoy her family and friends. She's stubborn though so we'll see what happens.

Sorry to hear that she fell though ~ hope those nurses keep a better eye on helping her out.

I'm so glad to hear she's improving so much... what a relief that must be. I know there's still a lot to overcome, but take each piece of good news for what it is... GOOD news.
