West Side/Grandview area Apartment Recs....

Needs recs for my BFF who's moving down.  YAY!  Need something nice BUT affordable.....

Hmmm, in Grandview there aren't too many apartment complexes. There is the Quarry on W 5th just past Riverside, but I know they are a little pricey.

For Grandview the best thing to do is drive around and write down phone numbers. I know on our street, W 6th and Broadview, there were always tons of apartments up for rent throughout the year. I wish I could recommend our old apartment, but our landlords found tenants.

Ditto Melissa, my group of Columbus friends keep finding great apartments in Grandview - old houses and such.

I also recommend just driving around and writing down numbers.  There aren't too many complexes in Grandview, but lots of old houses.

I live in an apartment in Grandview and did like the previous posters suggested, just drove around looking for "for rent" signs.  My landlord is fantastic and I know there's a townhome next to ours for rent (we pay $650).  If you're interested, I can email you his number.  There's only 2 places I know of that advertise rentals online in Grandview, and those sites are http://www.myersproperties.com/apartments.html

I've never rented from these places so I can't comment on the management, but it will give you an idea of prices and what rentals in Grandview are like.

oh, also Craigslist is a great place to search! always lots of places listed for Grandview.
