Maternity coats?

Where can I get a decent maternity coat? I'd like one that I can wear anywhere....out to dinner, to work, christmas parties, etc.  I checked Old Navy, but they're a little casual.  I hope there's stuff out there that isn't too expensive...

Re: Maternity coats?

  • Try the big Mimi/Motherhood store at Polaris (or go to www.destinationmaternity.com).  I know Motherhood had some, but they might be a bit pricey.
  • My friend said she found a nice one at Gap.com for $99 which I think is a little pricey.  I saw some at a motherhood/mimi maternity outlet that were reasonable.  Do they have an outlet store for maternity clothes at the Jeffersonville outlets?
  • Old Navy today had maternity pea coats (wool).

I did one step better than that.  I got a pea coat from Sarah Jessica Parker's line at Steve and Berry's.  I got one size larger than I'd normally wear, and there will be plenty of room to get through the winter - especially because of how that style opens up at the bottom.  $15

  • Jeffersonville has a Motherhood outlet, not sure if they have coats.  I am just planning on going w/o buttoning mine up or with a sweater.
  • I bought mine at Motherhood. I really like it because I can dress it up or down, it's wool. It was $69.

  • I managed to make it through last winter without buying a new coat because I was always so ungodly hot.  Usually a sweater was enough.

  • I saw a commercial last night about Old Navy having an Outerwear sale where everything is 40% off.  But I forget when it is.... this weekend perhaps?
