Return to work vent...
So I got back to work Monday and got to see first hand what they did to the desks. I HATE it! I'm right handed and yet all my work space is now on my left. None of the cords reach so there are extension cords everywhere and the power strip has to sit right in the middle of the floor. I have less space to work and even less to move around in. However she has crap tons of space as the desks aren't centered. She gets the window and the heat/ac vent. I get no air at all.
In order to move the desks around, and have us facing the door, they had to switch our desks. So they emptied them both out and switched. Well, they didn't empty them out 100% b/c half my stuff is missing and I opened a cabinet and it's filled with her personal crap. The desks have been moved like this for 2 weeks and she never bothered to get her crap. She left it for me to deal with. She keeps telling me that she has some of my stuff and that she'll get it to me "later." My files are a mess, my personal items were in a pile. My computer has a virus or something now. Files on my computer are either missing or screwed up. I'm missing very important files and her response was, "Oh I've got them somewhere...." That was 2 days ago. I have a stack of work I can't do until she gets me my crap back. I'm about to just take it one day when she's at lunch.
I'm getting statements with 60 day past due amounts from vendors. I checked the system and they did a massive check run last Friday to catch everything up. Did they think I wouldn't notice?
They messed up one of my paychecks while I was gone. They should have paid me 72 hours sick time and 8 hours holiday but instead they paid me 80 sick. Not a big deal, they can correct it. Well, she made a big deal about it(she's the one who messed up) and was saying that she'd have to talk to our boss and see what he wants to do. What's there to discuss? You screwed up, you should fix it. She got out the personel policy to try and prove I didn't deserve the holiday pay but was proved wrong.
Then she was whining that I accrued sick time while I was off. (I used all my sick time while I was off). But the HR person had my back and showed her in the manual where it says I still accrue.
WTF? It's great to be back...
