Re: ashell97...

  • He has good days and bad days.  Now that I'm back to work (boo!) I've been worried that he would scream all day at the sitter's, but apparently he's been showing off.  Has barely cried for her at all.

Last night we lost power for 3 hours and we were praying that he wouldn't have an outburst b/c we couldn't play his white noise CD.  Thank goodness he remained calm.  I think he was afraid he was going to miss something b/c he knew something wasn't right.  "No lights and mom and dad are up?!"  He was wired all evening...smiling and babbling...and then as soon as we got power, he went to sleep.  We need to buy batteries for our portable CD player!

It's bad on the weekends, mainly b/c (I think) he's out of routine and things are different.  Usually by Sunday afternoon he is a beast.  They say it USUALLY lasts 3-4 months (and in preemies that time starts from their due date, so for him 9/21) so we're hoping we'll see marked improvement by Christmas.

He starts cereal soon.  Supposed to be the weekend before Thanksgiving, but I'm thinking we might start it earlier.  He sleeps anywhere from 5-9 hours at night, so we're lucky there.  But I'm hoping the cereal fills him up and he stops eating every 2 hours!

The boy has more rolls than a bakery.  But it's so darn cute!

I'm glad to hear that Ethan is sleeping pretty well for you. I hope his colic only continues to get better. Christmas is right around the corner. Fingers are crossed for you.  :)
