BornFree bottles

Anyone using these bottles? Thoughts?  Where did you get them? TIA!

Re: BornFree bottles

  • I know you probably already checked the website, but it says you can buy them at Whole Foods and BabiesRUs (though I've never seen them at BRU).  Holy cow, they're expensive!!

  • My mother is obsessed with this whole plastics thing.  I registered for Dr. Brown's bottles and she wants me to switch to BornFree.  I agree with the pp, they are sooo expensive!  I may put them on the registry and see if anyone decides to buy them.
  • Me me...but you already knew that.  IMO, they're not that much more expensive.  You're talking an extra $20 for the newborn set over Playtex Ventaire's.  I can chalk up the 20 bucks if it gives me a better peace of mind that my baby is not ingesting potentially dangerous chemicals.  I predict that all bottle manufacturers will soon be following suit and making bottles without BPA, so eventually they will be cheaper.  In the meantime, I don't want to take the risk.
  • I agree Kristi that the extra money is worth the peace of mind.  Yeah I've been on the website too, was just trying to find some "inside" information. lol
