What is your favorite way to spend a Saturday?

Working on projects around the house, relaxing with DH and good friends, or kicked back in a lounge chair on the beach (when it's warm).

sleeping in til 9, farmer's market in downtown charleston w/ DH & dog, dinner & a movie date night

Sleeping in (until at least 10), going for a long run, eating lunch while I watch TV, spending the afternoon goofing off and hanging out with DH, baking, cooking a good dinner, and watch a movie with DH while eating some ice cream.

Getting up early, having a project to work on or fun shopping errands to run....  Having a dinner party with friends or neighbors or going out to eat.

I jealous of those of you that like to relax.   I feel like a 5 yr old with ADD that needs to be constantly entertained.   If I sit around on a weekend I feel as though I've wasted it.  I don't have to be productive, just busy.

I'm a lot like this too... but DH is the opposite.  To him weekends are about relaxing, to me weekends are about projects and having fun... we try to alternate weekends of projects vs relaxation, but unfortunately for DH I think the last 8 weekends have been project or company or travel weekends!!!  Tonight we're painting and he's going to assemble an armoire for me.  Last night we did lots of lawn work... so i'm thinking maybe I can get him to do more of my usual "weekend" projects on week days... then I wont feel the need to get so much done on the weekends since we did it during the week.

• Hanging out at the park
• Going to the Fresh Market in Greenville
• Watching a game at the Greenville Drive
• Going to a concert
• Going to Carowinds

 

Rainy/Cold Day

Spend the day inside with DH and maybe friends

• Playing video games
• Watching movies / favorite tv shows
• Trying out a new recipe
• Building a puzzle
• Decorating the house
• Doing our hobbies in our hobby room and talking (him playing bass me scrapbooking)

Wow, I've been so busy at work I didn't get a chance to check this till now.

I love sleeping in and doing something outdoors, I hope this nice weather sticks so I can get out a little more. I used to be all ADD, but I learned to relax and let things be just recently.  I do have a list of projects, but they can wait.
