F/U and BMV Question
Thanks for the sympathy. I did not even know that you could call the cops and get a car towed for tags until this.
As for the parking spot thing - we do not have any parking shortage on this street except on weekend nights (we are close to high street bars), and no one was parked within a block of my apartment on this side of the street when we discovered the car missing. Someone was just being a vigilant.
Thanks for the info about renewing online, we definately will be doing that next year. This year we can't wait at all for the tags to come in the mail so we will be heading down to the BMV. What documents do you need to renew your tags?

the only docs you will need are your DL and a POA (power of attorney) if you lease your car. HTH!
