Hi ladies,
My DH & I live in Stuart, FL which is kinda in the middle of Orlando & Miami so I don't feel like I really "belong" on the Central Florida or South Florida boards! We are thinking about heading up to Orlando this weekend to go to Sea World. Where is the cheapest place to get Sea World tickets(or any other park)? ?Also, what's a?recommendation?for a fairly cheap hotel? We don't want to spend a fortune on the hotel since it will just be for 1 night, but we don't want a roach motel either!?
Thanks! ?

Re: First Post Here
Hi, and welcome! I would check on the Orlando CraigsList. People sell tickets on there all the time... if not you can always pay for a day and get a year pass and maybe come back later on in the fall to ride the new roller coaster (if you like roller coasters)!
As for hotels... not sure. Take a look at hotels.com... and then read a few reviews on trip advisor.
good luck & have fun...
p.s. don't be afraid to post more often!
I live in Stuart too...well, Palm City. Cool, I have found one other local on one of the baby boards, she lives in Hobe Sound. Another nestie friend of mine(srh4jhjr) on this board is from this area but she lives in O-town now.
The only Sea World discounts I know of is for veterans and it is free. If you know any students at UCF they could get you Disney tickets for $50. Disney is also offering a military discount right now. It is a 5 day for $99. You can add the hopper for $25. Any veteran can get up to 5 of these. Hope one of those options can work for you.
?
We should plan a local gtg, even if it's just a few of us! DH & I only know 2 people in the area our age (ie under 60!) so we'd love to make friends!?

Welcome to our board. The only recs I have are Sea World tickets are buy once and get in the rest of the year free when your a Fla resident.
Hotels I recommend Hotels.com, priceline ect. My sister lives in Gardens and comes up frequently and she uses those sites for hotels and has stayed at some great places pretty cheap.
How long have you lived in Jensen? I miss it there and try to get back often.
I'm always up for meeting new people! You can shoot me an email at deebsml@comcast.net We'll talk more there. I don't like to say too much on this board!
