picture question
so...this is a bit random, but do you all remember a while ago when we had that photo group and we were doing themed pictures? it didn't last very long, only like a month, but i'm going to start trying to take photos more regularly again now that i'm done with school and have a little more free time on my hands--for the moment at least. would anyone be interested in doing something like this again? my best friend and i are going to try to go out together at least once a week to take pictures around town, but i think it would be fun to think about starting the group back up and might help keep me motivated and thinking about different things to shoot.
for those who weren't around for it, we had (have) a private group on flickr that was moderated by femeros and mrs.bluemont. femeros would post a prompt and we'd have a week to take and post a picture based on the prompt. it's still an active group, even though we haven't actually used it in ages. we could also create a whole new one, but many of us are already members of the old one. anyway, i don't know if anyone else would be interested or have the time or whatever, but i thought i'd throw it out there...

Well...I'm pretty new to the board but I would love to be a part of this if it's ok with you. We both love photography and we would like to try to get some interesting new stuff. It stimulates creativity to look at the world in a new way for unique photos.

oh, totally! i think we should try to keep the topics a bit vague, so you could post anything you wanted that relates to that. heck, i for one wouldn't care if it didn't directly relate to the topic, i think those are just suggestions to get some ideas flowing. the ones we used before were meals, holiday decor, holiday magic, and winter weather. can you tell we did it in nov/dec?
