Where did you buy your crib?

I'm in SE WI, so anywhere around here or Milwaukee we'd be willing to shop. Just wondering where other Moms have found theirs. TIA

  • USA Baby during their once a trimester sale.

  • We got ours at Babies R Us - it was a floor model & being clearanced out, so we got it really cheap.  They knocked another 10% off for a super tiny scratch on it (which I promptly covered up with a swipe of a Sharpie).  All in all, it was a pretty good deal.

  • I got mine at USA baby.  I love the crib I got with the fold down side.  There is talk that manufacturers might stop making the drop side for safety reasons.  It is a Baby Dreams. I special ordered and it took 20 weeks to get here.  2 weeks before I had DS.  Needless to say I was not happy with that, but they did offer to bring a loaner with free set up if I needed.

My friend bought hers at Baby Time on Lincoln Ave in West Allis.  She loved it.  I looked there just in case mine never showed and the people there were great.

I was going to suggest this place, too, but I forgot the name!  We got our crib mattress there (they're one of the only places around that carried the brand I wanted), and I agree that the people were very nice.

  • We also have a Baby's Dream crib from USA Baby.  With the fold down side.  It also took a super long time to come in.  I really like the crib and store....just wasn't happy with waiting that long.  The warnings about delivery time had been posted here....so I made sure to order asap.

  • We got ours at Baby Time, great customer service.
  • We ordered ours from JC Penney and had it delivered (for free) to the JCP Outlet at Burleigh and Hwy 45.  We've been very happy with it.
