So I get my health insurance through K because it's kick ass insurance that covers 100% of IVF and fertility drugs. Unlike her insurance, my part is taken out after taxes plus she has to deal with imputed income. Okay - we all understand this and it's because of DOMA and yada yada yada.
Well my employor reimburses our medical costs (mine and K's). But guess what? When they give it back to me it'll be taxed!! So my health insurance is being taxed twice. F@#K DOMA! I'm so frigin' pissed right now. Tax me once...okay....Tax me twice...I'm gonna cuz 
**good note though - HR is going to see if they can find any loop holes or a way to pay me back other than through my normal pay check. Perhaps maybe more of an expense reimbursement**

Oh that sucks so badly. DOMA needs to be done away with ASAP!
I am being added to S's insurance because it looks like I will be home for awhile. I am happy to have coverage again, but so scared to do our taxes next year.
So unfair. I hope they find a loophole!

i'm pissed that we have to pay taxes AT ALL - i'm not given equal rights, then i shouldn't have to pay equal taxes. F U DOMA.

GRRR! I'm going through a similar thing with Julie's employer. I agree, it think Mr. Barak needs to side track himself for a minute, and repeal, b/c it's a bunch of BS we have to do this!.
