Jay Leno Tickets?
Have you ever been to a taping of Jay Leno? I know the tickets are free and you can mail in a request. However, I am looking for a specific date and found some tickets on-line for $25 a piece and the money goes ot charity (reputable website).
Does anyone know how long the taping lasts? Do your tickets guarantee a seat or is it still a first come first serve type of line even if you have a ticket?

I have been several times. As with all tapings, a ticket doesn't guarantee a seat. I would still recommend getting there as early as possible that way you will have a better chance at getting a seat as well as getting a good seat! I have never bought tickets. I have always gone to the NBC building and gotten tickets that morning. Sometimes they have tickets left other times they only have standby tickets available. We have only run in to a couple of times where they weren't handing out any tickets and that was due to the popularity of the guest. After we get our tickets (or standby tickets), we usually go straight over to stand in line at the studio. I have found that if you dress up a little bit, you might get better seats since you might be on camera. When Julie & I went, we ended up sitting in the chairs that are on the floor right in front of the set. We got to shake Jay's hand at the beginning and we were about 5 feet from Ben Affleck!
