Hi, I'm new here.
Hi Ladies! I'm not quite a Nestie yet, still a Knottie, but will be coming to your side soon. I'm getting married in August and will be moving to Vegas, where my Fiance currently lives. We're in the process of looking for a house, in Summerlin, and am SO excited to move out there. I'm from Oklahoma City and it's the only place I've ever lived.
Anywho, was just wondering how this board was and if you girls ever get together or anything? Will definitely be looking for new friends in my new home! See you in a few months.

Congrats on your marriage and welcome to Las Vegas!! I was born and raised here but we may be moving to Norman, OK (haha). Summerlin is a good area so I think you will be happy there.

Hi! We are moving to LV this summer too and hoping to buy is Summerlin. Hopefully we will have a get together this summer!

Mike has lived in Vegas for 1 1/2 years now, but out in the East (ghetto) side of town in an apt. We've been looking and have decided that the Summerlin area is definitely the best for us. He works downtown and I work out of the airport, so it's about equal distance for us, not to mention it's one of the nicest areas we've seen......and talk about some steals on houses right now!
Where in TX do you live? I live in Oklahoma, but work out of Houston, at Hobby airport.

Thank you! And, let me know if you need advice on where to move in OK. I grew up and still live in south OKC, just about 7 miles north of Norman. I went to school at OU, so I know the area pretty well!

I know for sure Southwest Airlines is based out of Vegas, cause I work for them. Not sure of the others that have that city as a base. Unfortunately we're not hiring this year for flight attendants, but we keep adding new cities so surely this will turn around. Check southwest.com every so often, click careers to see if there are any changes.
Anyway, it's an awesome job! I love it so much. I work with a lot of girls who used to be teachers.

Hey Aggies! We got a house! Well, almost. Inspections are complete, and I should be out there on the 7th-11th, and we're supposed to close on it that week. Can't wait to say I'm a home owner. It's way out west in Summerlin....I wish I knew the streets already, I'd tell you where. Mike will move in right away, and I'll come out the end of August.
How's everything going with you guys? When is it that you're moving? June? Found anything yet?
