Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

photography update
so for those who were interested in the photo...challenge, i guess?...
i contacted femeros about it, and she's going into the old group to poke around and start getting things going. anyone who was part of this when we tried before is still a member, so you won't need to do anything (unless you want to change your flickr screenname to match your nest name if it doesn't or use a different account or whatever).
new folks: it is a private group, so you'll have to be invited to join. while we're figuring things out you can go ahead and set up a flickr account if you don't already have one, preferrably with your nest name as your screenname so we can easily identify you. once you have one set up, send me a private message (under contact at the lower right of this post) with the screenname or email address you used to sign up--please don't post this info in comments here, i don't want strange people to start spamming you. we'll send you an invite to join the group. this might take a little while, so don't worry if you don't get one right away.
the advantage of having a private group is that it can only be viewed by members, so people might post more personal things than they would on the board. please respect this and don't share photos or comment on them outside of that forum, and please respect other people's boundaries and don't post things that might make other people uncomfortable. thanks!
