Dessert help..
Ok,, so I decided I would make Tiramisu on yesterday but ended up not doing it becasue I could not find the ladyfingers that the recipie calls for. So, does anyone have another idea for the cookies that might be good? This is my first time making it and everywhere online it makes it seam like I have to have those cookies.

a lot of times you can find them at the grocery either with the cake mixes or in the bakery section. you might check the ethnic isle if your grocer has one, sometimes they put them there. also, if there's an italian market or deli in your area they would have them.
you can make them, too, but i've never done it so i don't know how easy it is. i don't know of anything else that would be a good substitute, though. good luck!
I hate to say it, but I believe those cookies are almost crucial. Head to nearest 'fancy' grocery store, and ask the person in the bakery section, they should have some there, or they will be able to help you find them.

hmmmm, if you cant find them, making them would be your best bet.
If you get desperate you could possibly try nilla wafers or biscotti (if you use biscotti, be sure to soak it extra to soften)
