nachos w/ guac sounds yummy too!  we've never tried using ground turkey.  how different is it?   enjoy your dinner too.  :)

  • We took the easy way out. We grilled some chicken with bbq sauce, asparagus with garlic and giant portabella mushrooms with blue cheese. We use the grill more than our kitchen!

Hey, did you ever make it to the dog beach today?  We were there for a good 3 hours.

  • we made mashed potatoes and grilled steak with caesar salad.  i accidentally added too much milk so they weren't the best.  now i'm trying to figure out what to do with the leftovers.  i'm thinking croquettes!
  • We had Subway...I have been OOT all weekend.

We have been cutting back on our red meat intake, so I have used ground turkey instead of ground beef in any receipe that calls for the beef. I cant tell the difference anymore! I make it the same way as I would with beef... cook it in a frying pan, drain fat, add taco seasoning and a little bit of water, cook another 5 min. Then just put it on top of your chips with shredded cheese, olives, salsa. I put them in the broiler for 5 min to get all melty and crisp. A spoon of sour cream & guac and enjoy!
