Today's Question: 3/30

What is the worst thing you have to do each morning?

Re: Today's Question: 3/30

  • get out the door! It was so hard this morning. I just take my time getting into work b/c I'm so never looking forward to it!
  • The worst part of my morning is waiting for DH to get out of bed.

I know that sounds horrible, but every now and again (maybe every 2 months) he'll fall back asleep after his alarm, so I generally lay in bed awake waiting for him to get up after his alarm goes off.  I HATE it. He tells me not to worry about it, but I hate being late, so I generally CANT get back to sleep until I know he's up.

  • MrsZ... the same thing happens at my house.  I just keep hitting him.   It drives me nuts (because I don't have to get up for another hour).

The worst part to me is walking the dog when it's cold and or raining.  He refuses to go to the bathroom in our yard so I have to walk him around the block with my teeth chattering.

  • The worst part of my morning is waking up! I'm not a morning person at all, so getting out of bed every morning is rough.

  • the worst part currently is taking the dog out on a leash to the communal yard to go to the bathroom.  we are working hard to get grass to grow in again in her favorite pee spot in our yard.  its cold in the morning & DH always seems to leave right when i take her out so she is distracted & wants to follow his vehicle.  oh well at least some grass has started coming in.

  • I don't know if there is something that is bad that I have to do in the morning. I dislike when I get woken up before my alarm though. We have an older home with no master bath. Dh will come back in after taking his shower and turn the light on. Or the dog will decided since Dh is out of bed he can join me but usually there is a cat in the spot he jumped so all I hear is hissing. I dislike being a light sleeper.

  • I hate waking up.  I am definitely not a morning person and I hate waking up as early as I do!

  • I'm going to say fixing my hair is the worst thing I have to do.  I've been told I'm insanely picky about my hair, and my hair always looks perfect (according to other people).

My hair reminds me of a sponge.  It loves moisture.  It sucks up water and then holds on to it.  My hair is really fine, but there is a lot of it.  Also, my scalp produces a lot of oil, so my roots tend to get very oily.

It takes 30 minutes or more to dry my hair (depending on how long it is).  I've tried washing it at night and then curling or straightening it in the morning.  However, by noon my roots are way too greasy and it just looks dirty.

Do you get your hair trimmed often?  My hair absorbs more water and takes much longer to dry when I'm due for a trim. I think dead ends are more likely to suck up the moisture.

  • I do it about once every 2-3 months.  I may try to do it every month and see if that happens.  Because you're right, it does take a lot less time when I get my hair trimmed and then gets worse!
  • Put away any dishes DH has left out and clean the litter box.
